The forum
A place to ask the question that isn't answered anywhere: is this hotel going to take my passport, is this train leg realistic, is this district the right one for us.

What gets discussed here
- Trip questions — the itinerary you're not sure about, the day that looks too full, the order that might be wrong.
- Hotels and bookings — which areas take foreign passports without drama, and which booking to avoid.
- Trains and transport — the 15-day window, the station that isn't the one you booked, the last metro of the night.
- Entry and paperwork — visa-free questions, the Arrival Card, and what changed this month.
- Food and neighbourhoods — where morning tea actually happens, and which street is worth the early alarm.
- Trip reports — what worked when you got back, written for the next person.
How it works
- Join above. Name and email is the whole registration — no password to forget.
- Ask in plain English. Dates and cities help more than paragraphs. "Guangzhou, 4 days, first week of March, two kids" gets a better answer than "is Guangzhou family friendly?"
- Answers come from people in Guangzhou, not from a model guessing. We'd rather say "we don't know" than invent something you'll act on.
- One rule: no selling, no tour promotions, no affiliate spam — yours or anyone else's. Trip questions only.
Where it's up to
The forum opens as the first members join — every thread you see here was asked by a real traveller. Ask the first one and it gets answered the same week.
